When I meet someone for the first time and it gets to the questions about my profession, the first myth I come across is that learning music = learning an instrument so therefore teaching music = teaching an instrument. I've commented on this before, but I definitely believe that all children are wired to love and enjoy music and all children have musical potential. I have had the privilege of being part of the musical journey of many families and never ceases to bring warmth to my heart when I see children's response to classical music. They just love it!
